Church Priorities 2008-09
1. To improve attendance on Sundays and increase membership.
2. To empower fiscal responsibility with growth of excellent
stewardship as evidenced by a balanced budget, accountability and
comprehendible reporting.
3. To focus upon care and upgrade of church property
• implementing the Architects Plan
• maintenance and refurbishment
• cleanliness and neatness in all church areas at all times
• improve and maintain landscaping
• parking, lighting, accessibility and signage
4. To increase service awareness and participation in church activities.
5. To continue emphasis upon church communications with staff,
servants, the congregation and the outside community.
6. To refine worship including congregational singing and worship
education.
7. To encourage small group development.
8. To live Our Mission statement and be spiritually vital, individually and
congregationally.
9. To enable the fulfillment of Our Purpose through learning to live
using the five practices of The Methodist Way:
a. Passionate Worship
b. Radical Hospitality
c. Intentional Disciplining
d. Salty Service
e. Extravagant Generosity
