| The purpose of United Methodist Women is to "be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of through participation in the global ministries of the church." Join the more than 1 million women already involved worldwide. Women, teens, and girls of all ages are invited.
What Does Membership Mean?
As members of United Methodist Women, we commit our prayers, time, and financial gifts. We dedicate ourselves to growing spiritually, responding to human need through study, reflection, and action and to financially supporting the global ministries of the church. We take part in mission education, are active in social justice issues, engage in discussion and study, educate ourselves about our history and heritage, and each find a unique way of contributing to the work of mission to women, children, and youth. There are as many ways to participate as there are types of women. We invite you to join us!
Unit Gatherings
Each month, we all come together to focus on fellowship, spiritual growth, and mission education. We generally meet on the third Saturday of the month at 9:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. As members of an organization that is over 1 million women strong, we know that our participation and voices can make a difference. The United Methodist Women have a rich legacy of mission outreach to women, children, and youth. We welcome you to come and see how you can make a difference.
